Accessibility

An accessible website is designed to enable a person with a disability to derive the same benefit from the website as a person without a disability, by receiving assistance from adapted technology and accompanying software.

Yad Hanadiv sees great importance in providing equal service to all visitors to the Foundation’s website, including those with disabilities. In order to activate the accessibility aids, you will need to open the ‘accessibility’ pane in the left corner of the screen and select the relevant category in the menu.

The website operates in Hebrew, English and Arabic and is made accessible in all three languages.

All pages on the website meet the accessibility standard specified in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 with an AA rating. The only exception is the graphic display of the Timeline, which has no service component for users.

Accessible Website Seal
The ‘Accessible Website’ seal is an initiative of ‘Access Israel’ a non-profit organisation, and the Israel Internet Association. The seal is awarded to websites which have been rendered accessible to people with disabilities. The purpose of displaying the seal is to promote public awareness of Internet accessibility, and to inform website visitors of the various options available to disabled users.
